Welcome to the Black Swamp Quilters Guild web site! The purpose of this organization is to promote the development of quilting in our community and to educate interested persons in all aspects of quilting. Our guild consists of quilters, young and old, in Northwest Ohio. Monthly meetings are held in Bowling Green, Ohio. Anyone interested in quilting is eligible for membership and guests are always welcome.
Minutes from the July 8 meeting are now on the website. Click Minutes on the left side of this page. The June and July 'rows' for the 2010 Mystery quilt are now on the website. Click Mystery on the left side of this page. The July, 2010 email from the President, in lieu of a newsletter, is now available Just click the '(Newsletter)' button on the left. The group retreat will be held October 22-24, 2010. Click on the "Retreat" button for additional information.
PLEASE NOTE: Our Sept 9, 2010 meeting will NOT be held at the Simpson Building; they are refinishing the floors. Instead, that meeting will be held at Church of the Nazarene, 15341 Gorrill Road, Bowling Green. Conneaut becomes Gorrill as you travel west, and this location is about 3 miles west of the Simpson Building.
