Hello my name is Sean Rizor and I am from Woodville, Ohio.
I'm not originally from here, but I'm currently living here with my wife
Stephanie. We were married October 27 of 2001 in Woodville. And
then we honeymooned in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I have to say for anyone
who has never been there it is a place to go and check out for sure. We had a
blast. I was
born in Toledo, Ohio and did a lot of moving over time. Finally by the
fourth grade we had settled down in Wauseon, Ohio where I attended school
and graduated. After graduation I moved back to Toledo and started
college and the working world.
In 1994 - 1995 I was running my own DJ company doing
everything from weddings, parties, and school dances to outdoor events such
as hog roasts. I was loving every minute of it. I then started
taking an interest in radio and landed my first intern gig with a classic
rock station. From there I did some radio stuff and continued to DJ
and run Karaoke. I moved then to Williams County in a small town
called Kunkle, a town of about 100 people.
I went to Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in
Southfield, Michigan where I took radio and television classes. I met
lots of people and had the opportunity to work for the Mitch Albom show.
It was a great experience.
I then started working for a country station, rock station
and mix station all at the same time. I also started my own commercial
production business doing radio commercials for area business's. It
was going okay, but I still needed to be doing something more.
I was asked to join the fire dept. in 1997. I went
through all of the training and off I was. Then in 1998 I was asked to
join the EMS. So again I went through that training. Both of
which have been great experiences. I started working for the Williams
County Communications 911 center as a 911 communications officer. I
was always around police officers and deputies.
During this time I found the time to have a very beautiful
daughter that makes me smile every day, Makayla. If it weren't for her
I wouldn't have done many things. She gives me great ambition. Makayla is 2 years old now and I'm
very proud of her.
One day I just decided that I was going to go through the
Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy. So now I'm a certified officer
through the state of Ohio and I love it. I am currently working for
the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office.
I have left the Sheriff's Office and I'm now on to the Ohio
State Highway Patrol. Wish me luck!
I've decided to take up website building and fixing
computers as a hobby. If you need some assistance with something feel free
to contact with me with any questions. I'll try to be as much help as
possible.
